About the Experience

Join us for a powerful and meaningful Women’s Day luncheon created for women who are ready to pause, reflect, reconnect and be reminded of the depth, worth, substance and authenticity they carry within themselves.

She Is Substance is more than a luncheon, it is a professionally guided Women’s Day experience combining an inspirational keynote talk, psychological insight, reflective activities, creative expression, a live question-and-answer session, beautiful connection with like-minded women, and a mouth-watering catered lunch.

Our keynote talk, led by Louise Niemann (MSc Res. Psych (current), BA (Hons) Psychology, Dip. Prof. Counselling) will gently explore how many women learn, often from childhood or early relational experiences, to survive by pleasing, proving, performing, over-giving, masking, over-functioning or disconnecting from their own needs.

These patterns may once have helped us feel safe, accepted, loved or in control. But over time, they can quietly shape our self-worth, relationships, identity, decisions, boundaries and ability to feel fully connected to ourselves.

This event is about understanding the patterns that may have kept you safe, recognising where they may now be limiting you, and intentionally reconnecting with the woman beneath the roles, expectations and protective layers, the woman of courage, value and substance who has always been within.

This Event is for Women Who..

This Women’s Day luncheon has been created for women who may appear strong, capable and successful on the outside, but who privately recognise some of the following patterns within themselves:

  • You often put everyone else’s needs before your own.
  • You struggle to say no without guilt.
  • You find yourself overthinking, over-giving or over-explaining.
  • You feel responsible for keeping the peace in relationships.
  • You sometimes sabotage opportunities, relationships or progress, even when you deeply want change.
  • You feel disconnected from who you are beneath your roles as partner, mother, daughter, friend, professional or caregiver.
  • You have spent years being “the strong one,” while quietly feeling exhausted, unseen or emotionally depleted.
  • You are aware that old patterns are affecting your confidence, boundaries, relationships or sense of self.
  • You want to understand yourself more deeply without being judged, labelled or made to feel broken.
  • You are ready to reconnect with yourself in a more honest, compassionate and empowered way.

This event is a safe, powerful and meaningful space for reflection, insight, connection and personal growth.

What You Will Gain

Guests will leave with more than a memorable Women’s Day experience. They will be guided through a process of insight, reflection and reconnection designed to support genuine psychological growth and personal development.

Through the keynote talk and guided experiences, you will gain:

A deeper understanding of your patterns

You will begin to understand how people-pleasing, self-sabotage, masking, over-giving or emotional disconnection may have developed as protective responses rather than personal flaws.

Insight into the link between self-worth and behaviour

You will explore how low self-worth can quietly influence choices, relationships, boundaries, identity and the way women show up in the world.

A more compassionate view of yourself

Instead of judging yourself for the patterns you carry, you will be invited to understand where they came from, why they made sense, and how you can begin to shift them.

Clarity around where you may be abandoning yourself

You will be gently guided to notice where you may be choosing approval, peace, perfection, performance or responsibility over your own truth, needs and emotional wellbeing.

A renewed connection to your authentic self

The event will support you in reconnecting with the woman beneath the roles, expectations, survival strategies and protective layers.

Practical reflection you can take home

The guided reflection activity will offer meaningful prompts and personal insights that you can continue working with after the event, no journaling experience required.

A symbolic creative experience

The mask-crafting activity will give guests a powerful visual and emotional way to explore the roles, expectations and protective identities women often carry, while reconnecting with the substance beneath them.

A sense of shared connection

Through the luncheon, live Q&A and group atmosphere, guests will be reminded that many women carry similar patterns silently, and that healing often begins when we realise we are not alone.
